Newport, Rhode Island - Where History Meets Coastal Charm

Newport is a small gem nestled along the stunning New England coastline. Known for its rich history, picturesque landscapes, and vibrant cultural scene, Newport has been part of my roots since I was a child.

There’s so much for visitors to explore, from the cobbled streets and historic neighborhoods, you can feel the echoes of Newport's storied past. Once a thriving colonial hub and a playground for America's wealthiest families during the Gilded Age, this quaint seaside town boasts a remarkable collection of preserved mansions and grand estates.

Beyond its architectural treasures, Newport offers an array of cultural and artistic delights. The Newport Art Museum, housed in a historic building that was once a Quaker meeting house, showcases a diverse range of contemporary and traditional art. The International Tennis Hall of Fame pays homage to the sport's legends, while the Newport Jazz Festival draws music enthusiasts from around the world, enveloping the city in soulful melodies and infectious rhythms every summer.
