Watercolor…

Although the images below aren’t actually watercolor, or any type of painting, they were created with a special technique using an iPhone, special filters and an incredibly talented printer. Inspired by the great Impressionist painters these images have a unique painterly effect that, when up close you can see each and every pixel, and when you step away you’re left with these very serene images.

These images were all taken during the Spring and Summer of 2020, during the Covid Pandemic. When the world around us was shut down I took to the shore (along the Connecticut and Rhode Island Coastlines) and created these images. They remain some of my most popular today.
